Baby baby you seem like Such a honey-dripping sweet thing sugar But your ways just crush my soul Unlike any other Bab-bada-bab-bow-babada x4 You're bittersweet Like an apple diseased to the core You're bittersweet But I come back for more I Looked for the hole in Heaven From which I thought you fell I should have looked the other way For surely you were sent from Hell You know you drive me wild Aha-ha honey child And you tease me so And it drives me psycho You're bittersweet Sugar-coated glass like a razor in a peach You're bittersweet A fantasy that's just out of reach Bab-bada-bab-bow-babada x4 You pull me down with your empty heart Turn my sunshine into rain Drag me to your rotted cross With your unholy lust for pain You know you drive me wild Aha-ha honey child And you tease me so And it drives me psycho You're bittersweet Like an apple diseased to the core You're bittersweet But I come back for more You're bittersweet So bittersweet Yeah Bittersweet Bittersweet x3 You're bittersweet Bittersweet x3 So Bittersweet Bittersweet x3 Yeah Bittersweet Bittersweet x3 My Bittersweet

about

Released on the 30th anniversary of their recording this EP showcases rehearsals that took place in Sheffield in 1992 when the band were between guitarists. As a result Commander Crab played Guitar as well covering vocal duties & these songs were performed as a 3 piece.

This was a period when many of the songs in our set began to change and develop. We have a soft spot for these recordings as the songs sound more like they were intended when they were written as we had more control than in a live situation where compromises often have to be made. The recordings were made by simply placing a consumer Sanyo tape recorder with twin built -in mics in the rehearsal room, therefore the recordings are Lo-Fi due to the nature and deterioration over time of the source material. However, we have done our best to restore and remaster the material as much as possible for this release.
